Farah Khan is a fellow at Brookings Metro’s Center for Community Uplift, where she focuses on the role of public policy in addressing economic, racial, and geographic inequalities. Her research explores how fiscal policies, including tax and transfer programs, can reduce economic disparities and improve welfare outcomes for disadvantaged populations. Khan holds a master’s degree from New York University and a Ph.D. in economics from Tulane University.
